Intelligent Communities, Inc. originated and is responsible for the development of The Intelligent Community Initiative, a unique strategy for raising educational standards and the standard of living throughout the United States. The Initiative will accomplish its objectives by tying together the below entities through a custom client-server, web-based network:

Who We Are

Kat Bundy is a freelance writer whose recent book, The Complete Guide to Alternative Home Building Materials and Methods, is one example of her passion for developing a sustainable way of life. She has been a community organizer and a lecturer of Democracy Schools with the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund, helping citizens develop fundamental democratic rights for sustainable living at a local level; and she co-founded a non-profit in Ohio to carry on this same work. While she has written extensively for local press and environmental groups, Kat also writes and edits educational development materials for both large publishers and small developers of K-12 history and socials studies, and English and language arts texts. Kat did her B.A. and M.Hum. work in the humanities at Wright State University, merging European literature, history, philosophy, languages,
politics, and art. She is currently finishing her thesis.

Eric Clark has more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology and Web-based applications. Most recently he was Senior Director of Information Technology for Model N, where he managed many internal and external customer projects. Eric was instrumental in creating a scalable infrastructure that allowed Model N to grow and bring on remote locations with greater efficiency and reduced risk. Prior to Model N, Eric was the Senior Director of Information Technology for Blue Pumpkin Software now (Witness Systems). Eric also has experience working in the Collocation space with Siemens Business Systems, and Exodus Communications work with fortune 500 companies. Eric began his career in the United States Navy, and holds a BSEE and a BS Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Alexi Kerbel is the President and Owner of BizClimb, which specializes in creating eye appealing and high quality websites. BizClimb has been building websites and web applications since 2003, utilizing the latest web technology such as HTML, xHTML, CSS, ASP, .NET, PHP, Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript and more, along with platforms built on MySQL, SQL 2005/2000 and others.

John Paccio has more than 17 years of executive leadership in start-ups and high-paced technology organizations.  In his senior management and consulting roles, he was instrumental in not only the development of the company, but also the technical direction of the product.  His teaching and computer programming background lends itself to be able to interface with both systems engineers and customers.  He is the architect of several web database-centric tools and technologies.  John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Barry Krusch has worked as an instructional designer, senior instructional designer, and project manager since 1991. His client list includes Bank of America, Wachovia, American Express, Chase, Hartford Life, Knowledge Transfer International, Procter & Gamble, and many others. In 2002, he was responsible for the instructional design and editing of 52 audio books for Drive2Learn, Inc. He is also author of 2 books, The 21st Century Constitution and Would The Real First Amendment Please Stand Up?

Carol Forsloff has decades of experience in curriculum design and implementation, staff training, company management and program development utilized in developing companies, administering schools and special programs, and assisting businesses in startup and expansion.  She has lived in Hawaii, on both East and West U.S. coasts, has traveled most of the world, and presently resides in Louisiana where since 2006 she has been Co-Editor and Co-Publisher of The Real Views, a twice monthly publication with hard copy and online editions at http://www.therealviews.com.  Carol is listed in a number of Who’s Who publications in education and counseling as well as International Writers Who’s Who of 2000 and Marquis Who’s Who in American Women 2006 and 2008.  She attained her Bachelors degree at the University of Washington, Masters degree at State University of New York and post-Masters at Duquesne, Pennsylvania State, and Loyola Universities.

Robert Dailey is an award-winning writer and journalist living in The Woodlands, Texas. He has served as a vice president for Citigroup (a Fortune 100 company), managing a billion dollar operation. His duties ranged from bringing companies public to overseeing large private and public trust funds, corporate retirement plans, and employee stock option plans. He has written for, edited and published a number of newspapers, trade publications and trade newsletters. Currently, his hundreds of articles and blogs are published in a number of places on the Internet, especially on Suite101.com, an international web magazine.
